In 2007, STRATAFOAM setup a Performance Chemicals division to manufacture and market Foam Control Agents and other speciality additives such as wetting and dispersing aids for coatings, inks and paints. This Performance Chemicals Division was named and branded as STRATAFOAM and this business is managed by Sandeep Vasa and Parag Jhaveri - names synonymous with Foam Control specialists in India. StrataChem Specialities Pvt. Ltd., launched STRATASURF - a brand of Gemini Surfactants based on Acetylenic Diols technology in 2014. Gemini Surfactants are formulations based on the most advanced chemistry ever used, to extract the best performance out of additives being used in aqueous coating applications – be it Decorative paints, Inks, Adhesives, Wood coatings and many more. The key to the success of Gemini Surfactants the world-over is their ability to significantly reduce surface tension of the coating media, thereby imparting a superbly uniform and smooth surface to the targeted substrate.
Our brands STRATAFOAM for Foam Control Solutions and STRATASURF for the Gemini Surfactants are well known in the global marketplace for their efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness and are synergistically complemented by coatings related sub-brands STRATAWETT for Wetting additives, STRATADIS for Pigment Dispersants and STRATALEV for Levelling additives.
